During my recent stay at Haast Beach Motel, I found it to be the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking natural beauty of New Zealand's South Island. The motel's proximity-just a minute's walk-from the stunning Haast Beach allowed us to enjoy long, tranquil walks along the shore, where we were often surrounded by the soothing sound of surf and the charming sight of sheep grazing nearby. Our well-equipped studio room was spacious and clean, complete with a kitchenette that made preparing simple meals a breeze, thanks to the well-stocked adjacent shop. I particularly appreciated the comfort of the room, with a super-king bed and heated mattresses that ensured restful nights, despite slightly chilly temperatures. As a marine biologist, I was genuinely impressed with the stunning environment that surrounds Haast Beach. The area is rich in diverse ecosystems, and opportunities for activities like bush walks and river tours are plentiful. This place truly captures the essence of the UNESCO World Heritage significance it holds. The warm hospitality of the staff enhanced our experience, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend Haast Beach Motel for nature enthusiasts and weary travelers alike-its blend of comfort, scenic beauty, and access to adventure activities promises a truly memorable getaway!
